According to the mythology of the planet of it’s origin, this ring was forged by an evil ruler named Sauron, who made the ring in the volcanic Orodruin (Mount Doom), focusing a major portion of his dark powers within it. As such, any who obtained the ring were subject to its dark intent.
Made of pure gold, it is a simple enough looking object until cast in fire, whereupon words in the “Black Tongue” of an ancient species are revealed. It’s goal was to imbibe the wearer with the power to collect other, subservient rings of power. By this method, all species on the planet would be under the control of one being; one intent of working dark magic. |
